Intel maintains 2031 target for first Ohio One chip fab

Intel says it remains on track to complete the first of two semiconductor plants at its Ohio One site in New Albany by 2031, despite slower construction. The company said this month that the $28 billion campus remains part of its long-term manufacturing strategy, while project deadlines remain flexible with customer demand. Intel had invested more than $5 billion in the site by the end of last year, or nearly $7 billion including contract commitments, according to the report. The company has not disclosed how much construction is complete.
