# Alphabet closes $25 billion senior-notes offering

Alphabet closed an underwritten public offering of $25 billion in U.S. dollar-denominated senior notes on Aug. 10, according to a current report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The offering spans ten tranches, from floating-rate notes due in 2028 to 6.500% notes due in 2066. Individual fixed-rate tranches range from $1.25 billion to $4.5 billion, while the largest total maturity bucket is $4.5 billion due in 2036 and another $4.5 billion due in 2056.
