Figma adds 20 partners for AI access through MCP

Figma adds 20 partners for AI access through MCP Image: Primary
Figma announced 20 new partners for the model context protocol, or MCP, at its first Config conference in India, TechCrunch reported. The protocol standardizes how AI agents connect to external tools and data. New partners include ClickUp, Linear, Meta Muse, Mistral, Notion and Sarvam Agents. Co-founder Dylan Field said Figma wants users to be able to work with their Figma data through the protocol, but argued that MCP favors frontier AI labs. He also said exposing more data increases the risk of abuse, explaining why the company does not want to make access fully open.
