The outage tracking organization reported the extended disruption on April 12, 2026, noting the blackout has affected significant portions of the country's online infrastructure. NetBlocks, which tracks global internet outages through real-time network measurement, documented the milestone as the disruption entered its sixth week. The extended outage represents one of the longest documented internet disruptions in recent years.
