# DataVita secures £300 million for Scottish AI data-center buildout

DataVita secured a £300 million debt facility to expand its DV1 data center and construct DV3 in North Lanarkshire's AI Growth Zone. The capacity of both buildings is contracted to CoreWeave under a 15-year lease, according to the company. A £202 million National Wealth Fund guarantee backs part of the lending. DataVita said work is advanced and the first facility will complete this year.
