Expanse announced a €4.5 million seed round led by Crane Venture Partners to expand engineering, accelerate product development and widen adoption of its AI infrastructure platform. The company says its software predicts compute requirements before an AI workload runs, aiming to reduce over-allocation and failed jobs while keeping code and telemetry inside a customer's cloud or on-premises environment. Expanse said one production deployment identified nearly €6.9 million of idle compute capacity in one month.
