Google today updated Gemini for macOS with the Neural Expressive redesign. The update includes a colorful gradient around the prompt bar, thin outline style icons, refreshed buttons on the homepage, and pill-shaped indicators in the navigation drawer. Neural Expressive is available with version 1.86 of Gemini for macOS. In other visual updates, Google has rolled out the latest design for AI Mode on Android this week, featuring a floating prompt box container and pill-style placement for the plus menu and submit button.
