AWS extends disaster recovery service to Graviton servers

AWS says its Elastic Disaster Recovery service now supports Graviton-based servers as sources for backup and recovery. The service detects servers using the arm64 architecture and recovers their workloads onto Graviton instances, extending coverage that was already available for x86 servers. AWS says customers do not need extra configuration and that the feature is available at no additional cost in every region where the disaster recovery service operates. The change gives organizations running Graviton workloads a recovery path within the same service they use for other servers.
