PCB Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all shares of Silicon Valley circuit-board manufacturer Gorilla Circuits at an enterprise value of $120m USD, subject to customary purchase price adjustments, The Manufacturer reported. Gorilla operates in San Jose and serves over 700 active customers, specializing in varied, small production runs, development products and short lead times. Its markets include semiconductor testing, technology, aerospace and defense. PCB Technologies says the acquisition would give it a US manufacturing base for contracts requiring domestic fabrication. It plans to introduce its advanced circuit-board substrates, microelectronics and integrated-circuit packaging capabilities to Gorilla's customers. The transaction has yet to be completed.
