Nvidia said it has expanded NVLink Fusion with NVHBM, a high-bandwidth-memory design intended for semi-custom AI infrastructure. The company said its design moves the memory controller into the HBM base die rather than the XPU die, and will be validated and offered by memory partners. Nvidia said Amazon's Annapurna Labs will be the first collaborator to work on NVHBM as part of its NVLink Fusion work.
