Bessemer Venture Partners has raised $5.75 billion in fresh capital, its largest fundraise ever. The firm has dedicated $4 billion to growth-stage investments as AI companies raise larger rounds and stay private longer.

Partner Sameer Dholakia told Bloomberg Technology that Bessemer sees investment opportunities in AI applications and physical AI. The allocation gives the firm more capital to back companies at later stages, including those seeking large private rounds.
