Apple has released macOS 27 Golden Gate with new AI features in several built-in Mac apps, 9to5Mac reports. Photos can extend an image beyond its original edges or change its perspective, while Safari can group tabs by topic and create an extension from a written prompt. The update also lets users describe a task for Shortcuts to build and suggest file or folder names in Finder based on their contents. These tools are available through the operating system update, which supports Apple Silicon Macs.
