Grok reportedly adds direct access to users' financial accounts

The integration would let the assistant use transaction and portfolio data without users uploading statements manually. It follows earlier financial analysis features and support for connectors to outside services.
The report does not establish how much authority users can give Grok to act on their accounts. It says access to more capable financial features depends on subscription tier, while xAI's Business and Enterprise plans include a commitment not to train Grok on customer interactions.
