AWS has added certificate authority rotation status to its Amazon EKS Dashboard, letting platform teams identify Kubernetes clusters approaching certificate expiration across accounts and Regions. The dashboard also shows upcoming automated rotation events, replacing individual cluster checks with a consolidated view.

Clusters created since 2018 have certificate authorities with a 10-year validity period, AWS says. The feature requires trusted access through AWS Organizations and is available at no additional cost. Rotation support covers all commercial AWS Regions, but teams view the dashboard from the US East region, us-east-1.
