Osavul raises €8.5M to expand threat intelligence business

Osavul raises €8.5M to expand threat intelligence business Image: Primary
Osavul has raised €8.5M in Series A financing led by European cybersecurity fund 33N Ventures, with participation from Balnord, G+D Ventures and 42CAP. The company will use the money to improve its AI, expand its sales team and enter new markets. Its software scans public and private data for signs of campaigns combining cyberattacks, sabotage, spying and online manipulation, then maps those signals to clients' staff, sites and suppliers. Human analysts check each report, and clients can run the system on their own servers. Osavul plans to sell to energy, transport, port and banking businesses while continuing its government work. It says it serves state, defence and security bodies in more than 10 countries.
