NASA awarded approximately $10.5 million to seven institutions through its new Aerospace Skilled Technical Workforce Hubs initiative. Over three years, the organizations will align employers, community colleges, high-school career programs and workforce systems around technical aerospace roles. NASA said the hubs will create programs, apprenticeships and links between employers and job seekers for skills identified by industry leaders, including welding, electrical and machining work.
