Thylander and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners broke ground last week on the 11.5MW Dansk Data Center 1 at Esbjerg Port in Denmark. The project, owned with PensionDanmark, is scheduled to launch in October 2027 and will have a grid connection from local operator N1. Its Plexar energy-management system is intended to adjust consumption to grid capacity, while storage supports grid balancing. Utility DIN Forsyning aims to use the facility's excess heat for district heating.
