# Slack launches shared channels for AI coding agents

Slack has launched Slack Code, which puts AI coding agents from Anthropic, Cognition, GitHub and Vercel into dedicated Slack channels. Teams can view plans, code diffs and live previews, then retain a searchable record after work ends. The feature is available on all Slack plans, although customers must separately have access to the partner agents. Slack says agents act using the invoking user's existing permissions, while standard pull-request review and release gates remain in place.
