Samsung SDS has broken ground on an AI data center in Gumi, South Korea, with an initial 60MW phase and plans to scale to 120MW. Construction is underway on a 498,165 sq ft site, with completion expected in late 2028.

The facility will offer customers compute from in-house GPUs and space to install their own hardware. It will combine air cooling for networking and storage servers with liquid cooling for high-density GPU areas.
