Supabase launched Compute in private alpha, allowing selected projects in us-west-2 to run agents, background jobs and APIs alongside their data. Developers can deploy Node, Deno or a Dockerfile into a full Linux environment for work that runs for minutes or hours, including tasks exceeding the 400-second limit cited for Edge Functions.

Services offer 2 GB with 1 vCPU or 4 GB with 2 vCPUs and receive all of a project's secrets. Access is through a waitlist. The alpha is for evaluation, and services can restart at any time; it has no autoscaling, GPU or persistent disk.
