# Meta brings topic controls and conversational ranking to Facebook

Meta is bringing its Your Algorithm feature to Facebook, allowing users to add and manage topics for their feed and Reels. Users can mark topics or individual posts as interesting or uninteresting, and Meta says recommendations respond within the same session.

Meta also says it is using large language models more in content ranking to interpret interests and intent expressed in ordinary language. Facebook may ask follow-up questions about what users liked or disliked; Your Algorithm previously launched on Instagram.
