Olo launches nationwide delivery app with in-store menu prices

Olo launches nationwide delivery app with in-store menu prices Image: Primary
Olo launched a nationwide food-delivery app on Android and iOS with 250 brands, offering restaurants' in-store menu prices and a flat 5 percent service fee. Customers still pay a separate delivery fee. The app brings Olo directly to consumers after years of supplying restaurants with digital-ordering software. Founder and CEO Noah Glass says marketplace commissions of 20 to 30 percent lead restaurants to raise menu prices. Olo's app also omits sponsored listings, instead showing available nearby restaurants and past orders. The company says its existing software helps customers place more than 3.5 million orders daily.
