Ooma announced StarDial, a home-phone service for Starlink internet users that it says will serve rural and remote locations where cellular service is unreliable.

Customers can buy a base station and handset for $129.99 with no monthly service charges, though taxes and fees apply. Ooma said the service includes nationwide calling, 911, caller ID, call waiting and voicemail, and that most customers can keep their existing number. It said the service can be used at homes, cabins, RVs, campers, vans and boats.
