Elon Musk has tasked SpaceXAI leadership with matching Anthropic's Claude at every release cycle as the company ships three Grok models in under two months, Bloomberg reported in July.

SpaceXAI shipped Grok 4.5 on July 8 and is set to release Grok 4.6 and Grok 4.7 within weeks, completing the three-model run. The sprint is happening against a backdrop of $500 million in annual recurring revenue and a full-year target of $2 billion, four times the prior year's figure.

Grok 4.5 launched July 8, 2026, built in partnership with Cursor and specifically optimized for finance and legal task workflows, Axios reported at the time. The model positioned SpaceXAI more directly in enterprise tooling, a segment where long-form accuracy and structured output quality matter more than benchmark rankings.
