Nvidia announced the RTX Spark computer chip at Computex 2026. The chipset merges an ARM-based Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, equivalent to an RTX 5070, alongside up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. The processor is based on the GB10 chip used in the DGX Spark platform and is manufactured on TSMC's 3nm node. CEO Jensen Huang said the focus is on running AI agents locally, which require powerful processing and memory for complex generation tasks. Nvidia said the RTX Spark delivers 1 petaflop of AI performance. Laptops featuring the chip are expected in the fall from partners including Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Microsoft, which plans to use the chip in its Surface Laptop Ultra. Pricing has not been announced, though the DGX Spark desktop platform costs between $3,500 and $4,700.
