Vercel has made Inception's Mercury 3 available through AI Gateway with 50% off launch pricing. The model has a 1M-token context window for long documents and extended conversations; Inception reports generation speeds above 1,000 tokens per second.

Mercury 3 generates text through parallel refinement using diffusion. Vercel describes it as supporting latency-sensitive workloads including browser agents, real-time search, interactive education and customer support. Developers can call it through the gateway using the model name inception/mercury-3.
