Clerky said it has agreed to join Stripe, bringing its online legal-paperwork service for startups and their attorneys into the payments company. Clerky said its existing team and focus will continue after the transaction. The company says startups using its service account for 23% of Silicon Valley seed and pre-seed financings and have raised more than $140 billion in aggregate venture capital. Terms and timing of the deal were not disclosed.
