Cloudflare adds BotBase submission tracking and automated checks
Image: Primary Cloudflare has launched BotBase for Operators in its dashboard, letting bot operators submit entries, see review status, edit submissions and cancel those still awaiting review. The company said its revised process automatically checks duplicates, user-agent specificity and declared verification methods, including IP lists, reverse DNS and Web Bot Auth signatures. Cloudflare said verified bot status can affect whether sites on its network can readily allow the traffic, though individual site owners still decide what to permit.
