KKR, together with the Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA and Vistra, has announced the launch of Helix Digital Infrastructure. The new company is designed to deliver integrated infrastructure for hyperscalers to meet artificial intelligence demand. Helix will serve as a single coordination point for data centers, power, connectivity and related needs.

Anchor investments from the partners total more than $10 billion in long duration capital commitments. NVIDIA will serve as a strategic partner for its DSX AI factory aligned infrastructure. Vistra will be the preferred power provider.

The company is led by Adam Selipsky, former chief executive of Amazon Web Services. Waldemar Szlezak, KKR global head of digital infrastructure, will serve as chief investment officer. Helix will invest in hyperscale data centers, power generation and transmission, and fiber and connectivity infrastructure.

KKR infrastructure platform includes more than $100 billion in assets under management and more than $70 billion invested across digital and power assets. The anchor investment is funded through its balance sheet and other managed vehicles. Helix is open to additional eligible institutional investors.
