TikTok has launched a standalone TikTok Shop app on iOS and Android in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, TechCrunch reported. The app gives its commerce business a dedicated destination beyond the main TikTok platform.

Shoppers can browse personalized recommendations, buy through livestreams and short videos, check out within the app, track orders, and access customer support. App-exclusive deals, free shipping offers, and first-order benefits encourage purchases through the separate app. Whether TikTok will expand it to other markets, including the United States, is unknown.
