Frore introduces diamond coldplates with claimed GPU cooling gains

Frore Systemes Image: Primary
Frore Systems introduced LiquidJet Diamond coldplates, claiming they can handle GPU hotspots reaching 770 W/cm² and reduce GPU temperatures by 16C-22C compared with conventional coldplates. The company claims token efficiency improvements of 30%-35%. Diamond wafers positioned above processor hotspots spread heat before it reaches customized liquid-cooling channels. Frore says the design raises supported hotspot density from approximately 600 W/cm² for its original LiquidJet to 770 W/cm². Frore plans an October 12-16 demonstration involving cooling for Nvidia's 2,300W Rubin accelerator. It has not disclosed whether the demonstration uses production GPUs or a thermal test vehicle; its performance claims rely on models and estimates.
