SiMa.ai has raised a $150 million Series C at a $1.45 billion valuation to develop chips and software that run AI directly on robots, drones, cameras and other devices. Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify co-led the round, which brings the startup's total funding to over $500 million.

Running models on devices avoids sending data to the cloud and can reduce response delays. SiMa.ai is targeting the market for physical AI devices, including humanoid robots, but its aim to compete with Nvidia's GPUs on cost and latency remains a company ambition. The startup was valued at $960 million after its July 2025 Series B.
