Cadence launched its Maestro AI model family through a partnership with Nvidia, specializing Nvidia's Nemotron models to interpret and work with Cadence's chip design tools. The models support agents that orchestrate design, testing and verification workflows.

Cadence says early tests showed up to a 30 percent improvement in output quality and up to 5x greater token efficiency against general-purpose foundation models. Customers can access the models through an API, a secure virtual private cloud or their own hardware. Customization using customer data will be offered primarily as a managed service.
