Intel announced a definitive agreement to acquire Classiq, a quantum computing software company, combining its automated algorithm design platform with Intel's silicon spin-qubit technology and quantum software.

Classiq's platform helps developers create quantum applications without designing circuits by hand and supports execution across quantum hardware platforms. Intel intends to continue supporting Classiq's existing integrations with multiple platforms after closing.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Intel and Classiq will operate as separate, independent companies until then.
