France's national blood service disclosed on November 3 that a cyberattack on a refrigeration supplier had raised temperature and defrost settings at three facilities the previous day. The French Blood Establishment, or EFS, said monitoring alarms allowed staff to fix equipment or move stored products.

EFS reported no identified health impact or loss of blood products, and collection and distribution continued uninterrupted. Coolworld Rentals separately confirmed that an incident involving remote monitoring software affected a limited number of its units, blaming a third-party component vulnerability. EFS has not named its affected supplier.
