ELYZA releases two Japanese reasoning models under Apache 2.0 Image: Primary
ELYZA released two Japanese-language reasoning models for free download on Hugging Face on October 2, according to a note article. The KDDI Group company distributes ELYZA-Thinking-1.0-llm-jp-4-33b and ELYZA-Thinking-1.0-llm-jp-4-32b-a3b under the Apache 2.0 license, permitting commercial use. The models build on the National Institute of Informatics' LLM-jp-4 foundation models, with additional intermediate and post-training by ELYZA. Their reasoning tuning targets logical deduction and multi-step queries. The release provides downloadable models for customization and operation within companies' own environments; planned visual and action capabilities are future extensions.
