Salesforce announced plans to invest $1 billion in Spain over the next five years, including a new Madrid headquarters housing a team that will help customers deploy AI agents. The company inaugurated the office on October 19 and named Madrid its EMEA South hub.

The team will bring together engineers who work directly with Spanish customers and a regional graduate recruitment and training center. Graduates from across EMEA South will complete a year of training in Spain before returning to their home countries to expand local implementation capacity. The investment spans five years; the office inauguration is already complete.
