# Elastic announces integrated security tools for Google Distributed Cloud

Elastic says it has launched integrated security monitoring and endpoint protection on Google Distributed Cloud's OIRv2 release for environments disconnected from external networks. The integration combines infrastructure, network and audit records with endpoint monitoring and investigation tools inside the isolated environment.

The offering includes detection rules, a unified endpoint agent, Mandiant threat intelligence and incident-management workflows. It targets sovereign, defense and regulated customers that must keep data on premises. Elastic cautions that the release and timing of features remain at its discretion and unavailable functionality may never be delivered.
