# Amazon Connect adds flow versions and aliases for coordinated rollouts

AWS says Amazon Connect Customer now supports immutable versions and aliases for customer experience flows and flow modules. Customers can attach friendly names to versions and point queues, quick connects and phone numbers at those names.

The feature lets teams test a new version while live traffic continues using the existing version, then switch linked resources through one production alias update. It removes the need to republish or relink each resource during that rollout. Availability covers all AWS Regions offering Amazon Connect Customer.
