Thrive Holdings is acquiring ADT in an all-cash deal valued at $7.6 billion, The Verge reported. The transaction will take the home security company private and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027. Led by Joshua Kushner, Thrive Holdings buys traditional businesses and applies AI to their workflows. ADT also supplies an installation channel for major technology companies: its partnerships let technicians sell and install Google Nest devices and Apple's new smart home products.
