Apple Maps obscures imagery of selected US space and military facilities

Apple Maps obscures imagery of selected US space and military facilities Image: Primary
Apple Maps has blurred imagery of selected NASA and US military facilities, Space Explored reported after checking the locations. Affected sites include Stennis Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Vandenberg Space Force Base, Groom Lake and Los Alamos National Laboratory. The restrictions vary by location: NASA's Wallops airfield is blurred, but its launch pads remain visible, as do Kennedy Space Center's historic pads. Google Maps still displays the military locations checked. Apple has made no announcement explaining the change.
