Go adds interactive refactoring support and proposes shared editor protocol

Go adds interactive refactoring support and proposes shared editor protocol Image: Primary
The Go team announced interactive refactoring support in gopls v0.24.0 and the official Go extension for VS Code v0.56.0. The capability lets the language server ask developers for input before changing code, replacing fixed defaults for operations that need additional choices. Developers can choose struct tags and naming conventions, remove selected tags, and generate method stubs for a chosen interface. The team developed the underlying proposal with the Dart team for the Language Server Protocol, which connects editors to language-specific tools. The protocol change remains a proposal. Moving declarations between files and packages is demonstrated in a working implementation but scheduled for a future gopls release.
