Anthropic expands vetted cyber access into three tiers

Anthropic logo Image: Primary
Anthropic expanded its Cyber Verification Program into three access tiers, combining it with Project Glasswing to give qualifying security professionals advanced model capabilities with fewer cyber blocks. The program includes Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Mythos 5.1. Defense Access covers defensive security work, including for individual researchers with a vulnerability-reporting record. Red Team Access adds authorized adversarial testing for organizations, while retaining blocks on actions that could cause physical harm or mass disruption. Specialized Access permits broader testing of safety-critical systems after an in-depth review conducted with the US government. Data retention is generally required for misuse monitoring. Until new enterprise safeguards arrive later this fall, existing qualifying Fable 5.1 or Mythos 5.1 customers can retain zero-data-retention access.
