# DiMuRe preprint reports higher robot task success after disturbances

_Published Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 9:32 PM EST · Robotics, Science · Latest · Tier 2 — Notable_

Researchers report that Local DiMuRe, a robot recovery framework, achieved 77.65% complete-task success across 801 scheduled disturbed development cases, compared with 58.68% for the original program under the same physical-step allowance. It also used fewer physical steps per scheduled episode.

The framework checks action requirements to select reusable program steps or predefined recovery skills and verifies each attempt. Full DiMuRe achieved 81.90% with terminal replanning, an additional step allowance and early handoff, making that result a different comparison.
