Luanti says DMCA notice removed its Android app from Google Play

Luanti says DMCA notice removed its Android app from Google Play Image: Primary
Luanti said its Android app is currently unavailable on Google Play after a DMCA notice submitted on behalf of Microsoft by Tracer.AI alleged infringement of Minecraft copyright. The open-source voxel game-creation platform said the notice did not identify allegedly infringing assets and that its app contains no proprietary Minecraft code or assets. Luanti said it has filed a counter-notice and noted it successfully appealed a similar 2023 notice from the same company. It said the app remains available through F-Droid and direct APK downloads.
