Googlebook sync updates extend support to compatible Samsung phones

Googlebook sync updates extend support to compatible Samsung phones Image: Primary
Google is rolling out updates that simplify pairing Android phones with Googlebook, while some Samsung Galaxy users have confirmed that cross-device features now work, 9to5Google reports. The features include app streaming, notification sync and continuing activity in compatible apps. The updates reduce first-time setup steps and fix a pairing QR code that remained visible after setup. Phones need Google Play services 26.37 or higher and Cross-device services 1.0.1346 or higher. Samsung support requires Android 17 with One UI 9.0, which has reached only a small portion of Samsung's device catalog. Networks that block direct local connections can also prevent the features from working.
