# AWS adds instance fallback lists to SageMaker jobs

AWS has made instance preference lists available for SageMaker AI training and processing jobs. Customers can submit prioritized instance types and counts, and SageMaker will launch a job on the first configuration with available capacity. The feature can also draw from on-demand capacity or reserved SageMaker Flexible Training Plans. AWS says it is available in all Regions where SageMaker is offered through its CLI, APIs, SDKs and console.
