Nebius secures $3.5 billion Citi loan for data centers and GPUs

Nebius lands $3.5 billion Citi loan for AI data center buildout Image: Primary
Nebius has secured a $3.5 billion senior secured loan from Citi to finance data center construction and GPU purchases, Cryptopolitan reported, citing the company's announcement. Some proceeds will support other business needs. The facility has a 364-day term and initially carries an annual interest rate of Term SOFR plus 2.75%. The margin can rise to 3.50% and is subject to further adjustments. The financing adds capital without a new equity sale, but Nebius must repay or refinance the borrowing within a year.
