Adzuna acquires Joblift, extending its consolidation of global job search

Adzuna has acquired the assets of Joblift, the German job search platform. Adzuna, the job matching platform, has acquired key assets of Joblift, the German job search engine. In Germany, Joblift.de will continue to operate as a standalone brand, preserving local market expertise and traffic partnerships while being backed by Adzuna's tech platform and traffic reach. In the UK, USA, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and France, Joblift's business will be combined fully into Adzuna, giving advertisers greater access to a wider pool of candidates. Joblift is Adzuna's fourth acquisition in four years, following Getwork, Seiza, Trovit and Mitula, making Adzuna one of only a few players with a meaningful presence in the USA, UK, Germany and France. Doug Monro, CEO of Adzuna, said: "Joblift is our fourth acquisition in four years, and it makes total sense for both businesses. Joblift's team spent years earning trust in the German market - relationships with employers, job boards, traffic partners and job seekers - and this deal means that work continues, backed by Adzuna's platform and scale. Job seekers want to find the right job for them, and for that you need AI matching technology that works at scale. That's what Joblift's users and clients now get access to. Put those together and employers fill roles faster, including the ones that are normally difficult and costly to fill."
