# AWS Security Hub adds on-demand findings exports to S3

_Published Friday, October 9, 2026 at 7:10 PM EDT · Security, Products · Latest · Tier 2 — Notable_

AWS says Security Hub now lets security teams export findings directly to an Amazon S3 bucket in their account, removing the need to build and maintain extraction pipelines for compliance reporting and audit evidence.

Teams can start an export from any findings page in the console, including Threats, Exposure, Vulnerabilities, Posture Management, Sensitive Data and All Findings. CSV exports support spreadsheet review and sharing; JSON exports use the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework format. The feature is available in every AWS Region where Security Hub operates.
